Frequently Asked Questions
Taking the first step can sometimes feel intimidating, however I offer a free consultation to assess fit. We will discuss your needs, what I can offer, and I will answer any questions you have.
Schedule an appointment then complete the paperwork.
If we are a good fit you can book your first appoinment. I will then send you a link to a secure online portal where you complete your paperwork before your first session.
Start feeling better!
In the first session we will go into more details of your circumstances and come up with a plan to help you transform your life. Most people feel some relief right away and things usually continue to improve from there.
What are your fees?
My fees are $200 per 50 minute session for individual therapy sessions and $250 per 50 minutes for couples therapy sessions.
Do you take insurance?
I am currently out of network with insurance companies and only take private pay clients at this time.
Do you see clients in person?
Do you do therapy with children or adolescents?
No, I only see adults who are over 18 years old and I do not work with children. However, I am happy to work with parents who are having difficulties parenting their children due to things from their own past that keep coming up. Additionally, I can assist with referrals for other therapists who see children.
What is your cancellation policy?
I require 24 hours notice for cancelling or rescheduling your appointment, otherwise you will be charged the full fee.
Can I have my baby with me?
I let parents choose their preference if they want their newborns with them in counseling during the first few months after birth. I have found this usually works well as the baby tends to nurse/bottle feed and sleep a lot during that time. If the baby either becomes very distracting or grows into the more active crawling stage, I recommend clients have someone else care for their child while they prioritize their mental health in therapy sessions.
